The Program comprises of 6 certificated Courses. Only students who have completed all courses can be certified as Professional Security Supervisor.

Professional Electronic Security Certification

Delivered in a custom-built environment you are guaranteed to acquire the modern skills needed to stand out in that industry, whilst also receiving accredited certification jointly issued by Risk Control Academy with Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), the premier technical University in Nigeria.

There are two certifications open to students.

• Certified Electronic Security Operator – For those who working in control rooms and those operating electronic security equipment.
• Certified Electronic Security Integrator – For those involved or planning to work in the electronic security industry as either, installer, system engineer and integrator.

The program comprises of 9 skill-based certificated courses. Students aspiring for Electronic Security Operator Certification will take only 2 of the 9 courses while those aspiring to gain certification as Integrators will undertake all the nine courses.

Accredited National Diploma 

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have accredited two (2) programs for Risk Control Academy, that will lead to the award of National Diploma on completion.

Networking & Systems Security

This program is a cyber security program will produce technically competent manpower in the areas of designing, installation, maintenance and management of local, wide area and wireless network environment. Participants will be specially equipped with the hands-on necessary skills to implement network security that will provide solutions to any organizational network problems. The program provides participants with substantial knowledge of computing, helps to explain the intricacies of the continually changing area of network security by studying the main issues involved in achieving a reasonable degree of resilience against attacks. The program runs for 4 semesters.

Security Management and Technology

This program will produce enterprising, well trained, and highly skilled security personnel in the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy. Participants are specially equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively protect the assets of organizations in a modern world. At the end of this program successful candidates will be awarded a National Diploma in Security Management and Technology.

Aviation Security Course

Risk Control Academy is an accredited AVSEC training provider and offers training in accordance with the requirement of the National Civil Aviation Security Training Program.

Those targeted for the training are those working or aspiring to work in the aviation industry which includes

• Screeners and Profilers
• Cabin Crew and flight Deck
• Ground Services staff
• Management

2. Basic/Foundation Aviation Security for Airport Security Staff (STP123)
3. Basic/Foundation Aircraft Operator Aviation Security Training
4. Cargo and Mail Security Awareness courses
5. Catering Security Awareness courses
